Hindutva leaders disregard bail conditions & Police orders, Yati Narsinghanand, Pinky Chaudhary and Preet Singh are out on bail. They have been instructed by the court while granting bail to them. Earlier, all of them were booked for hate speeches.
Yati Narsinghanand
Dasna Temple Priest and Hindutva leader Yati Narsinghanand was granted bail on 7 February, 2022. He was arrested for his hate speech at Haridwar Dharam Sansad.
Narsinghanand had called for a ‘war against Muslims’ and urged Hindus to take up weapons. He said, if Hindus do not fight then very soon a Muslim will become the Prime Minister of our country. He said he is raising his voice and wants other Hindus also to do so to ensure “a Muslim doesn’t become the Prime Minister in 2029”
Conditions Imposed
While, granting bail, the court imposed conditions and asked Narsinghanand to give an undertaking to the magistrate that he will not indulge in such hate speech hereafter.
Moreover, he would not participate in any event which incites hatred and disturbs the communal harmony of the country. The court also warned that he would be arrested again if he would disregard the court.
Hindu Mahapanchayat
However, Narsinghanand repeated the same in the Hindu Mahapanchayat held on 3 April2022. He said that 40% of the Hindus would be killed if a Muslim becomes a PM. “This is the future of Hindus, if you want to change this, be a man. a man is someone who has weapons and is armed.”
The Delhi Police have filed an FIR on him.
Pinky Chaudhary
Pinky Chaudhary alias Bhupinder Tomar is the Chief of the Hindu Rakshak Dal. He was granted bail on 30 September 2021 in connection to the Jantar Mantar Hate Speech of August 2021.
While granting him bail, the court imposed conditions in which it said “The accused shall not commit any offence similar to the offence of which he is accused”
Earlier, he had raised anti- Muslim slogans like “Mulle kaate Jayenge, Ram Ram Chillaayenge “(Cut down Muslims and scream the name of Ram).
Ignoring the conditions imposed on Pinky Chaudhary, he participated in the Hindu Mahapanchayat. Despite the warnings given, there were anti-Muslim speeches made by the speakers, while he was on the stage.
Preet Singh
Preet Singh, the President of Save India Foundation is out on bail for the Jantar Mantar Hate speech. The bail conditions imposed on him are similar to that of Yati Narshinghanand and Pinky Chaudhary.
He is one of the organizers of Hindu Mahapanchayat. According to the Quint, the North West Delhi, DCP Usha Ranganani said that the permission for the Hindu Mahapanchayat was denied.
Police confirms that neither the permission for the programmer nor the venue was given. But still, the Hindu Mahapanchayat was organized, breaking the rules and disregarding the court orders.
