As details about the horrifying murder of Shraddha Walkar continues to unravel, the Crime Branch has found clues pointing to a similar murder in East Delhi. A woman and son from Delhi were arrested on Monday for allegedly killed her husband, chopping up the body, storing the pieces in a fridge and then disposing them off.
The woman with the help of her son murdered her own husband, chopped up the body, stored the pieces in the refrigerator & then disposed of them across several east Delhi neighborhoods. This murder comes in the wake of the dreadful Shraddha Walkar’s murder where the accused had opted for a similar method to kill the victim & then later dispose of the body.
According to Police, first found the body parts in Pandav Nagar in June & a case of murder was registered. The investigation, however, did not progress as the pieces of the body had decomposed
Now, police have found that they belong to Anjan Das. His wife Poonam & her son Deepak allegedly killed Das in June as they suspected that he was having an extramarital affair, police said. He was first given sleeping pills and later murdered, they added. The crime took place in Trilokpuri and the body parts were disposed off across east Delhi’s Pandav Nagar & nearby areas
The police have accessed CCTV footage that shows Deepak walking with a bag in his hand late at night, during one of his trips to throw away the pieces, police said.
