Story
The movie starts with Shah Rukh Khan as Mohan Bhargava a scientist entering into a house . Out of the blue the villain enters. This role is played by Mouni Roy as Junoon. She enters with the two followers, that’s where the real identity of Mohan is revealed. It is revealed that he is part of the secret society with immense powers and he has the power of Vanara Astra.
Male Protagonist
The story moves on to the main male protagonist, Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva who works as DJ when spots Alia Bhat as Isha. He discovers the power he has which is Fire meanwhile the scientist is kidnapped by Junoon and there lies a secret his powers work only when he wears an anklet.
Powers of the Guru
Shiva takes Isha to the orphanage where he introduces her to his guru played by Amitabh Bachchan who is also a part of a secret society and has a weapon of Prabhastra who reveals a secret about shiva’s parents and how she wanted to be the ultimate ruler and how she saves the world and the importance of light and how to balance power and relationships.
Protagonist knows his powers
When shiva understands he is now able to see the future and how Mohan is killed by Junoon this is when Isha encourages Shiva to save Mohan and the plot takes a turn and reveals Nagarjuna as Anish Shetty who is an Artist in search of 2nd piece of Brahamastra but the plot flips into everyone including villain and the male protagonist goes in search of Anish Shetty but it is revealed that he has Nandi Astra and he is Vanquished by bullets.
Best performance
Every actor in the movie gave their best performance, yet there is a distraction from the plot . There are some unwanted scenes portrayed. Despite having immense powers, the end of the movie is with the modern technology of Guns. the fantasy drama where love is greater than everything the balance of love and powers.
Songs
The songs are the plus point of the film and the graphics of the film are the minus point as in a few situations there could have been an improvement. The film is not worth the budget they invested in, the duration of the movie could be less so that some unwanted drama could be excluded.
Overall it’s a one-time watchable movie and people who watch with expectations have a high chance of getting disappointed if it is not a wonderful movie.
