AIMIM Corporator Threatens Police, KTR Asks DGP to Take Stern Action

AIMIM corporator had allegedly threatened two police constables at Bholakpur two days ago. The police constables asked the locals to shut down the shops past midnight, the corporator obstructed them from doing their duty.

IT Minister KT Rama Rao asked the DGP Mahender Reddy to take stern action on AIMIM Bholakpur Corporator, Md. Ghousuddin. He was caught on camera abusing and threatening police personnel on duty.

Responding to a tweet on Wednesday, Mr. Rao asked the DGP ‘to take stern action against the individuals who obstructed police officers on duty’.

Furthermore, KTR tweeted, “No such nonsense should be tolerated in Telangana irrespective of political affiliations.”

 

Meanwhile, the video of the corporator threatening the policemen went viral on social media. People from all walks of life started criticizing the administration.

Soon after that, the city Police booked a case against the corporator. The case was on the charges of obstructing policemen from doing their duty and threatening them.

However, after the demand to take stern action came from KTR against the corporator, the case has gained more relevance.
