New Delhi: The 68th National film awards are released on Friday. Indian actors Surya and Ajay Devgn named as Best Actor for films ‘Soorarai Pottru’ and ‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior’.
According to NDTV, the best actor award is to share by Ajay Devgn and Surya for the films ‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior’ and ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Soorarai Pottru is a historical film based on the life of Air Deccan founder Captain G.R. Gopinath, whereas ‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Hero’ is a film based on the unsung warrior Tanhaji.
Soorarai Pottru, Tanhaji grabs big
Tamil film Soorarai Pottru named as Best Featured Film. It also got awards for Best actor award for Surya, Best Actress Female award for Aparna Balamurali, Best Screenplay award for Shalini Usha and Sudha Kongara(director),Best Music Director award (Background score) for GV Prakash Kumar.
‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior’ grabbed the awards for Best Popular Film, Best actor for Devgan, Best Costume Designer for Nachiket Barve.
