Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta responds on mass layoffs and calls himself responsible for the layoffs in the company. Around 13% of Meta workforce has been laid off yesterday. A video has been leaked on internet where Mark Zuckerberg responds on Meta employees mass layoffs.
Soon after the company fired 11,000 employees, he offered words of appreciation to the employees.
According to the leaked video call of Zuckerberg, he said “I want to take upfront, that I take full responsibility”.

Mark Zuckerberg tells staff in the video, “There must be a range of emotions present. I am the company’s founder and CEO, and I am accountable for its health and direction, as well as how we carry it out, including decisions like these.”
While responding to people layoff he said, we are losing people who put their heart and soul into it. Every single one of you has contributed to Facebook‘s success.
Finally, he added “It was one of the most difficult decisions I had to make in my 18 years of running the company. It was my ultimate decision.”
