Twitter has been down for many users around the world after the micro-blogging site try to log out many users on Thursday morning, December 29. When the users attempted to log in to their Twitter accounts, an error message appeared despite several attempts to refresh and log in to the website.
The outage began around 06.00 AM on Thursday. According to Downdetector.com, a few Twitter users were unable to access their accounts. According to the website’s outage map, the outage was felt in several Indian cities.
Many parts of the world, along with the United States, are affected by the outage. According to the Downdetector website, 51% of users experienced website-related issues, while 44% experienced log-in issues.
Moreover, the mobile app is still operational and no outages have been reported for the microblogging website’s mobile version. The Elon Musk-owned company has not issued a statement regarding the outage experienced by users.
