Smriti Irani and her daughter are not owners of Goa restaurant Silly Souls or its land – said the Delhi High Court in its order on Monday afternoon.
The order which was passed on Friday was released on Monday afternoon. Justice Mini Pushkarna said that the court has gone through all the documents related to the case. Especially, the show cause Notice issued by the Commissioner of Excise in Goa to Anthony D’gama.
According to the order, the court directed the three congress leaders Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera and Netta D’Souza to delete and remove their posts on social media.
Though the court said that it seems that the Union Minister and her daughter are not the owners of the Goa bar and restaurant, the netizens think its ‘foul play’ .
Many evidences on the social media make it clear, who is right and who is lying. In fact, netizens still remember the tweet of the Union Minister Smriti Irani congratulating her daughter in a tweet. Calling her a young entrepreneur and that she is proud of her.
One netizen questioned about the video evidences. Another asked about why did the daughter of the Union Minister herself give an interview and claim she owns the restaurant?
Why was the word ‘bar’ masked after the controversy arose?
Many netizens even questioned the credibility of the judges. They questioned , if the evidences are proved, will the Judges resign from their post?
As per the High Court, Smriti Irani and her daughter do not seem to own the Goa bar. I think it runs by itself and it should be called AatmnirBar.
One said “ the Court has lowered its ‘Bar’
Another mocked saying “silly souls owned by departed souls”
One netizen took a step further and said, ‘Silly soul -de-addiction center’- Nasha Mukt kendra.
