CAA : Six men detained for raising controversial slogans

Pro-cAA slogans rised on Delhi metro

Six youths who were Pro Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) were shouting controversial slogans and chanting — ‘Shoot the traitors’ inside a metro train in Delhi Metro’s blue line and also at the Rajiv Chowk Metro station, on Saturday.

These men were who were wearing saffron T-shirts and Kurta started their controversial slogans when the train was about to leave the station. They chanted Pro CAA and provocative slogans which meant that the youth of this country must support and defend CAA.

Some commuters quickly joined the band but few of them spontaneously switched on their cameras and recorded to make videos. Everyone was taken aback by the unusual chaos and the place chosen by the six men.

Soon the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel intercepted the youth and handed them over to the police as they are responsible for the security of the metro stations.

The six men clad in saffron clothes shouted controversial slogans like “goli maro”  which was first used and popularized by Union minister Mr. Anurag Thakur in the wake of the Delhi assembly elections, when he raised slogans and asked people who were following him to repeat the slogan after him.

Since then, this slogan is being raised at many places by Pro CAA activists to protest against anti-CAA protesters. An FIR was filed against Anurag Thakur for delivering hate speech instructing the people following him to chant the “goli maro” slogan,in The Delhi High Court.

These six men were also raising the controversial slogan “desh ke gaddaron ko, goli maro sa***n ko” at the Rajiv Chowk metro station.

Police detained them and questioned the six men. The Video of the slogans by this six men has gone viral over the social media.
