R Narayana Murthy Arrested for Supporting ‘Chalo Rajbhavan’

Hyderabad Police on Sunday arrested Leading actor R Narayana Murthy. He was arrested while agitating against the new farm laws introduced by the Central Government.

Since the farmers were worried about the new farm laws introduced by the Centre, they organized a program ‘Chalo Rajbhavan‘.

Communist parties in Hyderabad initiated the Chalo Rajbhavan program/moment. On the otherside, without taking permission from the police the program organised. Narayana Murthy who has been supporting the farmers since long joined them in this protest. The police stopped blocking Raj Bhavan from protestors and arrested them.

Subsequently, R Narayana Murthy arrested along with the farmers. Meanwhile, speaking to the press, he expressed that farmers have turned into laborer’s, due to the new farm laws introduced by the center. He said Farm laws introduced by the centre will do no benefit for the farmers.

Narayana Murthy stated how Bihar farm laws of 2006 backfired in the state. He also demanded the Central government to take back these laws immediately.He also added the Centre should rethink Privatizing Education, Farming and Health sectors.
