Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his addressing to the nation at 10am, today announced that India extended its lockdown till may 3.

Highlights of PM Modi’s speech at 10am on 14th April 2020:

–        Amidst the various problems we face, we still managed to stay home and fight against Corona.
–          While all the other developed countries are falling down, India shines better.
–          India’s fight against the deadly virus is remarkable.
–          When India hit 100 cases, we decided to prohibit traveling overseas.
–          Social distancing and Lockdown has helped us a lot in maintaining our country’s     virus rate.
–          Where India stands today, the developed countries have stood there a month ago and now their rates have increased upto 25-30%
–          Keeping in mind the number of cases, the government has decided to continue the lockdown.
–          India will remain in Lockdown until 3rd of May.
–          All the hot spots will be strictly under supervision.
–          Till 20th April, all insights in a city/area will be continuously observed
–          A 100% immunity to the officials will be given to take strict action against anyone who doesn’t follow the rules of the lockdown.
–          Restrictions to be tighter.
–          Tomorrow, new guidelines will be sent out through PM Jeevan kalyan yojna,  keeping in mind the low earning families.
–          We now have 200 labs testing for positive cases compared to the 1 lab we had during the early stages.
–          A call out to all the young scientists to discover vaccine for the well being of the country and the world.
