Gas Light is a 2023 film that was released on March 31. It is directed and written by Pavan Kirpalani along with Neha Sharma, and produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri under Tips Industries and 12 Street Entertainment, which was distributed by Disney+ Hotstar. Here is the review of the movie Gas Light from our analysis.
The main leads were played by Sara Ali Khan (Meesha), Vikrant Massey (Kapil), Chitrangada Singh (Rukmani), and Akshay Oberoi (Rana).
Plot:
The movie starts with a birthday celebration of Meesha as a little girl in the bungalow. After 20 years, she gets a letter from her father asking for forgiveness and asks her to come back to the palace. She meets her stepmother Rukmani, who welcomes her warmly.
When Meesha asks Rukmani about her father, she replies that he went on a business trip and will return soon. While Meesha is exploring the palace, she finds her father and follows him, but finds out it was not her father but someone else. So will the father return? is the mystery.
Review:
Sara Ali Khan as Meesha, who played the role of a girl suffering from paraplegia due to an accident, was brilliant. All the main leads and supporting characters have portrayed their roles perfectly, but it’s not as scary for a thriller lover. The costumes of the royals were awesome, and Sara had a simple look.
My rating for the film is 3 out of 5.
