Differently abled man’s shop demolished for ‘rioting’ in MP

Strangely, Wasim Shaikh is accused of stone-pelting and rioting in Khargone, MP. His shop was razed by bulldozers on April 11.

A differently abled man is accused of pelting stones on the Ramanavami procession in MP. He has lost both his arms in an accident in 2005.

On April 10, violence broke out in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh during the processions held on the occasion of the Hindu festival Ram Navami. Subsequently, several people, including police personnel were injured. The police had to use tear gas shells to control the violent crowd. However, few shops and houses were set on fire.

According to a report by Zee News, Wasim Shaikh said,” I have been running my shop for almost 12 years. It is the source of my bread and butter. My young children and elderly mother are dependent on me. I need help to even eat and drink water, how can a person with no arms pelt stones?
