In a tragic incident, as many as 55 passengers, including 47 students, were reportedly injured when a bus collided with a truck in Palghar district, Maharashtra.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday morning at around 6:45 a.m. near Desai village in Wada tehsil, MSRTC stated.
According to news reports, the bus was carrying a total of 70 passengers when it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on Chinchpad-Wada road.
All the injured persons, including the driver, were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for better treatment. Luckily, none of them suffered major injuries in the accident.
Most of the injured include a large number of students, Police Inspector Suresh Kadam stated.
