President Murmu released NTR 100 Rs Coin on his birth centenary

The Commemorative coin was unveiled to honour the legacy of Legendary actor-turned-politician Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Gaaru.

On Monday, Indian President Smt. Droupadi Murmu released a commemorative 100 Rs coin with the image of the Legendary actor, NTR to grace his birth centenary celebrations. The President of India launched the coin at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, Delhi, in the presence of family members.

The Commemorative coin was unveiled to honor the legacy of Legendary actor-turned-politician Late Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Gaaru. NTR’s sons, daughters, and extended family were all invited on this special occasion. Many of them attended the special occasion.

According to news reports, during the event, the President said NTR enriched the Indian cinema and culture through his films. Through his acting, he brought life to the major characters of the Ramayana and Mahabharata. The way he portrayed the characters of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna became so real that people began to worship NTR, Murmu added.

Furthermore, Murmu added, “He created a unique chapter in Indian politics through his extraordinary personality and hard work. He initiated many public welfare programs, which are recalled even today”.

NTR 100 Rs Coin released:

President Droupadi Murmu released the commemorative coin on the Late Shri NT Rama Rao on his centenary year at RBCC. Speaking on the occasion, The President said that the Late Shri NT Rama Rao has enriched Indian cinema and culture through Telugu films. The President of India tweeted that NTR’s popularity was equally wide as a public servant and leader.
