Earlier, he declared that he would visit Delhi’s Jama Masjid on June 17. He claimed to give a presentation on the Quran. Earlier, the Ghaziabad administration issued a notice to him. They warned him of legal action if he makes a statement which spreads communal hatred.

According to PTI, the SDM Vinay Kumar Singh told,  “The step was taken to maintain law and order in the district.” Furthermore, he said that Yati Narsinghanand will be under house arrest and strict watch till midnight.

Despite efforts to maintain law and order in Delhi, a purported video clip of the Yati Narsinghanand surfaced on social media.
