In a viral video on the social media, Former Union Minister Uma Bharati can be seen vandalize a liquor shop. She pelted a stone and smashed the bottles in the wine shop.
In a series of tweets, Bharti warned the local administration to shut down the store within a week. However, there was no response from the administration. Hence, she personally went to vandalize the liquor shop.
Earlier, she tweeted that the slum-dwellers residing in Barkheda Paitani Azad Nagar, BHEL Bhopal are spending all their hard-earned money on alcohol. Ms. Bharti blamed the wine shops for serving alcohol to the slum dwellers.

However, there are mixed reactions for this act of Uma Bharati. Some of the tweets were for her and few were against her.
Some of them were felt proud of her. Whereas, some netizens said that all this is a drama to seek attention.
