A teenager killed his mother dead in the early hours of Sunday. The teen shot his mother at their home after a heated argument over the game, with his father’s licensed revolver.

According to NDTV, a 16-year-old boy allegedly shot his mother after she stopped him from playing a mobile phone game. The worst part was he hid her body for two days at their home in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow.

The police said the teenager killed his mother in the early hours of Sunday with his father’s licensed revolver, after an argument over the game he was addicted to.

The boy shot his mother in the head, after which she died shortly.

The police said that the teen then hid his mother’s body and stayed at home with his nine-year-old sister for two days. Moreover, the boy used a room freshener to cover the foul smell.

Furthermore, he had allegedly threatened to kill his sister too if she told anyone.

His father, an army man, is currently posted in West Bengal. Initially, the boy cooked up a fake story. He told his father that his mother was shot dead by an electrician who visited the house for some work.

He told the police the same story. But when the police investigated, they found it was totally a fictional story.

According to a senior Lucknow police official, Mr. S M Quasim Abidi said, “when the boy was taken into custody and interrogated,  the teenager confessed to the crime. We then took the boy into custody “.
