Sidhu Moose Wala, alias Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu was a Congress leader and a Punjabi singer. He was shot dead in Mansa district yesterday. Birth of Sidhu Moose Wala

Moosewala was born on 17 June 1993. He gets his name as he belongs to the Moosa village which is situated in Punjab’s Mansa district. Moosewala enjoyed stardom in his twenties, which very few can ever imagine.

Sidhu Moose Wala’s College days

He learned music during his college days, but widely known for his ‘gangster rap’. He always hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Moosewala was widely popular among the youth with 6.9 million followers on Instagram. His controversies always overtook his stardom. There were allegations that he promoted drugs and violence through his songs.

However, he completed his graduation and moved to Canada. Some say that he gained more enemies there.

Controversies

Moreover, the Sikh community opposed him in many matters. Innumerable FIRs registered against Moosewala alleged that he promoted violence and hurt religious sentiments.

However, he had to apologize after people from his own community slammed him for portraying the Sikh warrior ‘Mai Bhago’ in poor light.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, pictures of Moosewala posing with an AK-47 went viral, for which the police booked him. In 2020, on charges of promoting gun culture, the Punjab police booked him under the Arms Act.

Though he gave several super hit songs in the last few years, his songs ‘Panj goliyan ‘and ‘sanju’ surrounded him with controversies.

Sidhu Moose Wala Death

Mr Moosewala and two of his friends were driving in a jeep to the village Jawahar Ke in Punjab. Suddenly, 30 bullets were shot on the Jeep and Moosewala was found lying on his seat bleeding heavily. He was rushed to a hospital nearby, where doctors declared him dead.
