Sachin Pilot tweeted in reaction soon after he was sacked as state Congress chief and Rajasthan deputy chief minister.

Rebel leader Sachin Pilot, was sacked as Rajasthan deputy chief minister and state chief by the Congress party, hence truth cannot be defeated.

Pilot short tweet came soon after he was ousted, “Truth can be disturbed, not defeated.” Pilot’s strong message came moments after Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala announced the party’s decision to sack him.

Two other state cabinet ministers, Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena, were also sacked from their posts.

“I regret that Sachin Pilot and some of his associates have been swayed by the BJP‘s plot and are now conspiring to topple the Congress govt elected by 8 crore Rajasthanis. It is unacceptable,” the Congress spokesperson said.

Pilot’s sacking came after a meeting of the Congress Legislative Party. A resolution was passed to sack Sachin Pilot as the Rajasthan Congress president and authorisation was given to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for sacking his deputy.

The chief minister headed straight to Governor Kalraj Mishra to inform him about the reshuffling of the state cabinet.

However, Gehlot,  did not address the media after the decision was taken by Congress to sack Pilot and two of his loyalists.

Soon after Pilot was removed, the Congress appointed Govind Singh Dotasra as Rajasthan PCC Chief.
