Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a 21 day lock down on May 23, as he seemed to have captured the bottom-line of the problem but people not taking the lock down seriously. Public breaking the lockdown rules and this defeats the very purpose of social distancing to defeat coronavirus.

Behavior of people during lock down, they are taking  to the streets with silly reasons. It shows that public are not being responsible and lockdown rules are breaking with this.

“I am going to bring an ointment for my sister”, “my sister wants me to bring some food”, are some of the lame excuses given by people who are coming onto the roads. The police personnel have been doing their duty day and night to protect the people but none of them understands. Public are giving a tough time to the police to execute the orders given to them by breaking lockdown rules.

The public for silly reasons and roaming on roads with false stickers stuck to their vehicles are breaking lockdown rules. Police testify that there have been many instances of lying to the police and there has been too much of traffic at the markets and ration shops.

Trivial things

People come out for trivial things and some irresponsible people hang four water bottles, four food packets in the name of service and roam around. Some public are just going around unnecessarily and breaking rules of lockdown unnecessarily.

Lies

Few people say that their wife has a delivery date and hence they need to go or their wife had a still born baby, hence they need to visit her. A man was heard saying that he was going to give his son ration as his son and his friends stay for rent and no money in his account to buy the groceries.

Common excuses

One common excuse told by many are that their cousins or relatives are undergoing treatment in the hospital and they do not have money for the medical treatment, and they are going to give them money. Another person told that he was going to the railway reservation counter as he has to cancel his train tickets.

Fake Medical emergency stickers

Police seized 4 four wheeler and 18 two wheeler despite of medical stickers pasted on it. The police found about 50 vehicles in the name of Medical Emergency. It shows that public didnt care about the pandemic and breaking lockdown rules.

No precautions taken

People try to use every possibility or opportunity given by the government and misuse it . Moreover, they make lame excuses mostly medical checkup, Vegetables, ration, rice, deaths and varieties of the day are various causes. There were 50 people  travelling in a single vehicle without masks.. As precautionary measure police warned them to wear masks as they become helpless.

Unnecessary turns

Some come out unnecessarily and say that they are going to the nearest pharmacy store. Other said that he was going to other place to bring onions as they were expensive in the nearest market. Police are seizing the bikes of such people. People visit the nearest vegetable markets number of times taking turns to take one vegetable once. The police identify such people and seized their bikes.
