A man cleared the Google interview but failed the tenant interview in Bengaluru, he recently shared a experience on social media in LinkedIn.
Ripu Daman Bhadoria, works as an Engineering Manager at Google. He shared on LinkedIn, as to how he managed to finally find a house for rent in Bengaluru.
According to his post in LinkedIn, he relocated to Bengaluru from Seattle in 2022. He found it difficult to find a rent home due to the high demand post-Covid.
Despite the demand, many apartment owners began conducting interviews of prospective tenant. He added, “𝖨 𝗐𝖺𝗌 𝖼𝖺𝗎𝗀𝗁𝗍 𝗈𝖿𝖿 𝗀𝗎𝖺𝗋𝖽 𝖺𝗌 I failed miserable 𝗆𝗒 𝖿𝗂𝗋𝗌𝗍-𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋 tenant interview. 𝖳𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗐𝖺𝗌 𝖺 moment of awakening 𝖿𝗈𝗋 𝗆𝖾 𝖺𝗌 𝖨 𝗋𝖾𝖺𝗅𝗂𝗓𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗋𝖾 𝖺𝗋e harder interviews to clear than Google”.
Furthermore, he said that he failed in many interviews but that improved him a lot. In addition to that, he directly asked the landlord for feedback on my interview performance and if there were any red flags they noticed, since HR or the recruiter wouldn’t reach out to me with interview results in this case.
“The landlord was transparent in sharing feedback that they believed I was likely to buy a house, given that I work for Google. I never thought that working at Google could be so disadvantageous.”
However, I successfully cleared the next tenant interview. Feel free to reach out to me for tenant interview experiences.
