Sutapa addressed Irrfan as a warrior but she made him that, and gave him the strength to fight too. She was there 24/7. Irrfan said in an interview, ‘She has evolved in care-giving and if I get to live, I want to live for her. She is the reason for me to keep at it still.
He returned from abroad after a year of treatment. He finished work on his ‘Angrezi Medium’ . The whole of cinema fraternity – Bollywood and Hollywood – mourns his loss but nothing compares to the loss of Sutapa, Babil and Ayan.
