The latest bulletin by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are around 28,498 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 9, 06,752.

The Union Health Ministry on Tuesday confirmed that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has cross 9-lakh mark. Daily spike of over 28,000 confirmed coronavirus cases for the third consecutive day has raised everyone’s concern. Alarmingly, India has reported nearly two lakh virus infections in a week’s time.

The latest bulletin by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are around 28,498 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 9,06,752.

553 new virus-related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours in the country. The death toll due to coronavirus currently stands at 23,727, apart from the infections.

The recovery rate among COVID-19 patients has increased to 63.02% while the recoveries/deaths ratio is 96.01%:3.99% now, said the central government.
