Darshan Solanki case: Suicide note discovered – Part3

Darshan Solanki, a 19-year- old boy jumped off from the seventh floor in IIT-B. Later, his roommate Aarman Iqbal khatri was arrested.

“Police framed my brother just to solve the case,” claimed the sister of Armaan Iqbal Khatri, the IIT-B student detained on a charge of aiding and abetting suicide in connection with Darshan Solanki’s death on February 12.

The Powai police, who first investigated his death, discovered nothing. “However, three weeks later, the crime branch unexpectedly discovered the note.” “How?” Armaan’s relatives inquired.

The Khatris also highlighted the findings of an internal investigative panel at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, which found no evidence of caste prejudice against Darshan.  Since day one, the bereaved family has claimed that Darshan was tormented by fellow classmates because he belonged to the SC/ST caste.

“The entire family is going through a lot right now.” A student witnessed Darshan jump from the seventh storey of the college building. Despite the fact that there was no foul play in his death, the authorities arrested my brother. He would never do something like that because he is a hardworking student. “There hasn’t been a single complaint from the college about my brother,” she claimed.

“In addition, witnesses have suddenly appeared.” The cops manufactured evidence. We are seeking bail, and if he is released, we will seek to have the FIR dismissed,” she continued. Gupta stated that they believe Darshan committed suicide since he had failed several internal examinations.

Darshan’s father, Ramesh Solanki, told mid-day, “My son was always tortured for his caste, and he had told the family about it.” He never told us anything about Armaan, though. We refused to accept the suicide note since it included so many harsh comments. Those remarks could not have been written by my son. We suspect he was murdered. We are sceptical about Armaan’s role and urge a thorough probe.”
