The Arvind Kejriwal’s hat trick – Arvind Kejriwal has become the Chief Minister of Delhi after , Aam Aadmi Party led by Arvind Kejriwal had a stupendous victory on Tuesday in the Delhi Assembly polls, leaving BJP, its main rival way behind and wiped out Congress in a contest that took place amid massive protests over many issues including the new citizenship law.

The AAP led in 63 seats, and the BJP in seven constituencies while the Congress secured a zero in the 70-member assembly, according to the mandate given by the people of Delhi.

The AAP’s stupendous victory comes after eight months of Lok Sabha polls in which AAP suffered a severe loss but BJP won all the seven seats. Among the AAP main candidates who won the elections include Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Raghav Chaddha and Atishi. The prominent winners of AAP cabinet ministers are Gopal Rai, Satyender Jain.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has won over his BJP rival, Sunil Kumar Yadav with a margin of 17,000 votes in New Delhi Constituency. The Shaheen Bagh demonstration was consistently highlighted by the BJP and the AAP, blaming each other.

AAP’s main agenda was on its achievements in the fields of education, healthcare, and infrastructure. whereas BJP’s campaigned on issues of national security The AAP had an amazing victory in 2015 by winning 67 seats and almost wiped out the Congress and the BJP. The AAP headquarters was decorated with blue and white balloons and big banners with a picture of Kejriwal.

Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath campaigned extensively for the BJP but was of no avail, former Prime minister Manmohan Singh and party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi campaigned for the Congress. whereas Kejriwal was the star campaigner for the AAP.

This mandate is a message for those who are doing Hindu-Muslim politics that will not work anymore.
