A 12-year-old girl was raped, stabbed with scissors multiple times, Delhi

The frightening incident took place in Peera Garhi area of Paschim Vihar, Delhi on Thursday. The accused raped and stabbed the 12-years old girl with scissors multiple times.

We are in 2020, but still girls are not safe in their own houses. After the 2012, Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case the accused were hanged till death on 20th March, 2020 in Tihar Jail. And once again Delhi was shamed again with similar awful incident, a 12 year old girl brutally tortured after she resisted her rapist.

According to police, when the incident took place the girl was alone in her house. Police arrested one person on Thursday evening. Police found that the accused had several scratch marks on his body that proved that the girl resisted her rapist. The accused according to police is a drug addict and he was released from jail on bail, recently.

The minor girl is admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in New Delhi, battling for life. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited the hospital on Thursday. He informed the reporters that those involved in this case surely will get strict punishment.

He also added “I have spoken to the Police Commissioner. The police are trying to nab the accused. The Government  will ensure strict punishment for the accused.” The Delhi Government provides 10 lakhs to the victim’s family.

Police investigated and analyzed the CCTV footage. Police have not revealed the real identity of the accused yet. They feel that the man was drunk when he allegedly committed the crime. He entered into the victim’s house with an intention of theft.

Victim’s family said that she has injuries in her private parts and intestines. Also have fractures in hips and heads. Police claimed that the girl fought with the man.
