A woman died by suicide because her son failed in chartered accountancy (CA) exam, in Balaji Nagar Enclave of Gajularamaram in Hyderabad.
According to police, the victim was identified as Pushpa Jyothi 41 years old and she’s a housewife. On Wednesday, she hanged herself on a ceiling fan in her home. Jyothi’s husband is a private employee. They have two sons, one recently appeared for the CA exam and he failed. She was worried about her son and hence hanged herself when she was alone at home.
After the police came to know about the incident they immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem.
A case has been registered at Jeedimetla Police Station of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
