Rythu Bandhu scheme : Telangana government released 7,720 Cr to farmers

Hyderabad: On Sunday, the Telangana government released Rs.7,720.29 crore amount to nearly 70 lakh farmers. The state government is giving this amount Under the 11th edition of the Rythu Bandhu scheme for the Vanakalam season of 2023-24. The amount will be deposited into the bank accounts of the farmers from Monday.

This Rythu Bandhu has started to give financial help to the farmers in the form of crop assistance. The state government will deposit Rythu Bandhu’s financial assistance in farmers’ accounts from today. Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy said that all arrangements have been completed in this regard.

Finance Minister Harish Rao and Additional Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao to take steps to deposit the Rythu Bandhu funds to the farmers in their respective bank accounts.

According to news reports, Rythu Bandhu’s financial assistance to farmers Assistance to 1.54 crore acres this season. The amount of 7,720 crores will deposit to 70 lakh farmers. With this 11th edition of the Rythu Bandhu scheme, 5 lahks new Rythu Bandhu beneficiaries, and 4 lakh acres of wastelands are related. In an additional burden of Rs.300 crores on the government, 72,910 crores in total are in farmers’ accounts.

The Telangana government supports investment through the Rythu Bandhu plan by giving grants of 5,000 per acre for every farmer each season for the purchase of goods like seeds, fertiliser, pesticides, labour, and other investments. The government is proving 10,000 to framers every year.
