A Southwest Airlines flight staff refused to let it take off until passengers cleaned up the mess they did made in the aisle. The incident took place on April 15, and photos and video of the incident has been going viral on social media after it uploaded by a passenger.
Jennifer Schaper, the passenger who posted the incident on twitter with the caption saying. Because my travels seem to involve unintentional comedy: Just boarded the plane and somebody spilled food. The flight attendant screamed “who spilled rice?” and is walking up and down the aisles.
She also added that, They are refusing to leave the gate until someone cleans the rice. The people in my row and I have now the giggles and she’s looking at us suspiciously. Rice is getting cleaned but she is MAD. She has let us all know that we were not raised right and she is disappointed in all of us.

Update (2/2): The over-dramatization of the whole event made it more comical than anything – coupled with the fact that we were further delayed by an oblivious passenger who took advantage of #RiceGate to use the bathroom and further delay the flight.
