Telangana Chief Minister KCR will visit the hailstorms and unseasonal rains affected districts on Thursday. Crops have suffered extensive damage due to hailstorms and unseasonal rains last week.
CM KCR plans to visit Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Karimnagar districts. He will assess the damage to the standing crops caused by hailstorms.
Apparently, the CM has directed concerned ministers, Chief Secretary, and officials of the agriculture department. The concerned officials are asked to submit details on the crop damage due to hailstorms.
CM KCR will interact with farmers to extend them support. Moreover, the opposition BJP and Congress have urged the state government to extend immediate relief to farmers who suffered losses.
