In a shocking incident, a woman died after breasts, hands, ears, & nose were cuts off by a man in the public market of the Bhagalpur district in Bihar. The accused, who has been identified as Mohammad Shakeel, hid the weapon in a pot before attempting to kill the woman as she was going to buy groceries.

People in the market recognized her as she was a frequent customer shortly after the attack & informed her husband, Ashok Yadav, about the incident immediately.

After the incident, the injured woman was taken to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Mayaganj, where she died during treatment..

Shakeel had received threats from Neelam’s relatives for approaching her. He was annoyed with the woman since she had ignored his advances.

Meanwhile, the husband said he didn’t have any enmity with Shakeel, & why he committed the crime wasn’t known to him.

According to India Today, when the police arrived at the scene of the incident, the woman had already given the attacker’s name, which witnesses on the street had noted. Five people were then taken into custody by the police and questioned in relation to the incident. The accused Shakeel is still missing as of right now.
