In a shocking incident, a class 10 girl was allegedly gang-raped by five of her classmates in Hayathnagar, Hyderabad. Who also recorded a video of the sexual assault under Hayathnagar police station limits on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Though the sexual assault happened in August, it came to light now with the parents of the victim approaching the police.

The accused recorded the sexual assault on their mobile phones and threatened the girl. That if she revealed this it to anybody, they would upload the video on social media.

According to reports, two of the boys raped her again after ten days.

Rachakonda Police Commissionerate said in a release that the boys used to roam on the outskirts of their locality after school timings and used to watch porn videos in their mobile phones.

To overcome their lust, the boys had an eye on one of their classmates. As the girl also moved and talked with them freely, they took it as an advantage, police said.

The girl narrated the entire ordeal to her parents after the accused allegedly shared the video with friends through an instant messaging platform.

Based on the complaint a case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC), Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and IT Act was registered and during the course of investigation the five boys were arrested, police said.

They have been sent to a juvenile home.
