This is the story of a young doctor. His path was not as easy as any other student who aims to pursue a medical degree.

Dr. Krishna is a son of a poor farmer from a drought struck village. Their lands were never wet and their pockets were always empty as their stomachs.

His father was a natural healer and he never accepted any money or favor in return from his patients. His father was always happy when a patient conveyed his satisfaction after they get cured. Krishna’s childhood had a lot of impact from his father’s medical practice, he then decided to become a doctor and wanted to experience the same satisfaction in life.

Keeping their financial condition in mind he never expressed his aim to his family. In addition to all the odds, Krishna lost his father while pursuing his intermediate. He had to bury his dream of becoming a doctor.

Later, he took admission in degree college with the help of his third elder brother who is a lorry driver. His brother’s income was very minimal. Hence, Krishna did not join medical entrance coaching.

So, he started going to graduation college but internally he had a high time to convince his longing ambition. The burning wish made him to take a medical entrance while pursuing his regular degree.

During his first attempt, he did not get into M.B.B.S., but was able to get eligibility as a veterinary doctor. This gave him some confidence that if he joins medical entrance coaching, he can take admission in the second attempt. However, his family’s economic status, did not allow him to disclose his next plan of preparing for his medical entrance.

Krishna decided to earn some money for his ambition and moved to Hyderabad. He stayed in a basic night accommodation and found a job as a catering boy for wedding events.

However, he was paid 200 INR for every event and was served free food for the day. This filled his major requirement and geared up his preparation. He saved money for the shortage days from his good paid days.

In his second attempt he was able to clear his medical entrance test and got admission at Siddhartha Medical college, Vijayawada.

The journey of struggles just started… His wish was in his arms but he didn’t have enough money to pay his college fee. He then got an advice from a well wisher and published his problem in a newspaper.

Krishna found a donor for his admission fee in college. He started going to college but he had to think about his monthly mess bill and to buy books. He always had the courage to face the challenges.

After attending daily classes, during his holidays he started traveling to Hyderabad to work as a catering boy and filled the financial gap… As a medical student on working days and a catering boy on a holidays….

Finally, years passed and he graduated as a Dr. Vadde Krishna Murthy. After completion of Under graduation Krishna joined as a duty medical officer at Siddhartha General Hospital to treat Covid patients.

He is waiting to join as a civil assistant surgeon at Andhra Pradesh. As he learned many lessons from life he want to contribute for the society by working in rural areas as a doctor.
