Lok Janshakti Party MP, Prince Raj Paswan is booked in a rape case by the Delhi Police. A woman filed a complaint three months ago. Delhi Police registered a FIR against the MP for allegedly raping a girl.

MP Prince Raj Paswan is not only a Member of Parliament from Samastipur in Bihar but also a cousin of LJP supremo Chirag Paswan.

A FIR is registered under IPC provisions relating to rape, criminal conspiracy destruction of evidence. The case is registered by Delhi Police at Connaught Place Police Station against Raj Paswan. Moreover, few sources say that the name of Chirag Paswan also includes in the FIR.

However, a Police Officer said that the case was registered on the directions given by the court. “The court’s direction came on Thursday and a case has been registered under relevant sections at the Connaught Place Police Station.

Consequently, on June 17, Prince Raj tweeted a statement in which he denied all the allegations. In his tweet he wrote, “a certain woman making defamatory statements” claiming harassment and abuse.

MP Prince wrote “I categorically deny any such claim or assertion that has been made against me. All such claims are blatantly false, fabricated and are part of a larger criminal conspiracy to pressurize me professionally and personally by threatening my reputation.”
