79- year old father abandoned by 3 sons, snatches property of 3 Crore

This heartbreaking incident happened Madhira village in Telangana’s Siddipet district. Police have arrested them. 79-year old father was admitted at a government hospital as his health deteriorated, he is under treatment. The police have arrested the three brothers and shifted them to the Huzurabad jail.

Police said, the three sons are Pothu Sudhakar (45), Pothu Janardhan (48) and Pothu Ravinder (52) they abandoned their 79-year old father Pothu Mallayya on the streets and then they divided his money. They also grabbed away their mother’s entire jewelry. As she has six-acre land registered in her name one of them keeps her with him. One built a house while two others purchased a land elsewhere with their shares.

Police also found out that is really shocking they even threatened the villagers those help the old-man. Villagers fed him and later sent him to an old-age home.

Old-man fell sick and he was admitted to the Government hospital by old-age home authority. The Madhira village revenue officer (VRO) lodged a written complaint to Koheda Police. They registered a case under Section 24 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and Section 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code.

“The three sons have shown that they are heartless. Despite counseling and persuasion by villagers, police and revenue authorities, they refused to budge,” Koheda SI Raj Kumar said. Police have also added sections 290 (nuisance) and 323 of IPC to the FIR.
