Heavy rains across Telangana, IMD issued red and orange alerts for several districts for the next 3 days, till Friday, July 28. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in various districts during the next 3 days. A huge traffic jam was reported across the city and mainly on highways.
Heavy rains lashed the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and its surrounding areas on Monday evening. Due to waterlogging on the roads, people had to face a lot of problems and huge traffic roads.
Weather department officials in Hyderabad said that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in Telangana for the next three days.
