Uppal skywalk built with Rs.25cr by HMDA set for inauguration

The work of the newly constructed skywalk on Uppal Ring Road built by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is ready for inauguration. The Uppal Skywalk is built at a cost of Rs.25 crore by the HMDA. Around 1,000 tons of steel has been used to build the pedestrian-friendly facility that has 6 entry and exit points.

The skywalk has been designed keeping in view the needs of the coming generations. The 660 metres long skywalk built with 37 pillars is 6 metres above the ground has 8 lifts, 6 staircases, and 4 escalators. It will connect Uppal Metro Station to the nearby Uppal Junction with 6 entry and exit points.

Uppal Skywalk is ready for inauguration The skywalk has been designed keeping in view the needs of the coming generations and it was proposed on the instructions of MA&UD Minister @KTRBRS, KTR news tweeted.
