Twitter Blue tick verification process, Users to soon pay $4.99 per month

According to a reports, the twitter users would have to subscribe to Twitter Blue $4.99 a month or lose their verified badges.

Soon after Elon Musk took charge of Twitter, he is giving directions to get the whole verification process revamped in the first place.

Elon Musk tweeted on Sunday that the whole verification process is being revamped right now. He wants the micro blogging site to charge for the blue tick mark after verifying the identity of its account holder.

According to a reports, the twitter users would have to subscribe to Twitter Blue $4.99 a month or lose their verified badges.

The CEO of Tesla Inc, Elon Musk did not take a final decision yet. Apparently, the project could still be scrapped. However, according to a Platformer it is likely that verification will become a part of Twitter Blue.

Twitter Blue was launched in June last year as the platform’s first subscription service. It offers “exclusive access to premium features” on monthly subscription basis including a feature to edit tweets.

In a tweet, Elon Musk said on Sunday that it will revise its user verification process. Elon Musk had just taken over one of the world’s most influential social media platforms.

Musk said in his tweet without giving more details on what may change. “Whole verification process is being revamped right now”.
