On Tuesday, Telangana former Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar was appointed as Chief Advisor to CM KCR by the state government. He was appointed as Chief Advisor in honor of his contributions to the development of the state. He will remain in the cabinet position for three years.
Somesh Kumar’s appointment came after three months of his voluntary retirement. He recently shifted to Andhra Pradesh on court orders.
According to Telangana Today, Somesh Kumar was appointed as Chief Secretary of Telangana by KCR in 2019. He served the position for three years until stepping down in January of this year. On Telangana HC orders he moved to AP.
After moving to Andhra Pradesh, he opted for voluntary retirement in February this year. His recent appearance during BRS public meeting at Aurangabad surprised many. Surprisingly with immediate effect, CM KCR appointed him as a chief advisor.
