KCR Press Meet Highlights: Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao Says He Will Not Be a Part of 7th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog.
He said, ”I will not be a part of the 7 Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog which is going to be held in Delhi tomorrow, as a mark of protest, Telangana CM.
Sensational remarks
In a press conference, the Chief Minister of Telangana made sensational remarks. He said he is boycotting the meeting due to the manner in which the Central government is working. Furthermore, he said, “I have written a letter to the PM of our country.”
He reiterated many times that he has lost of reverence for the Planning commission of India.
Planning Commission
Stating an example, he said, “the Planning Commission was criticised about the mistakes done during the first year plan, Nehru , the then Prime Minister rectified the mistakes in the Second Five year plan. But now a days no one is ready to hear our suggestions.”
NITI Aayog
The full form of NITI Aayog is National Institute of Transforming India. NITI Aayog. It stands as an institution just for name sake. No action is taken by it . It remains stagnant and works after it gets directions from the Prime Minister. He remarked that has become a joke.
The Chief Minister blamed the Central government for the mockery of NITI Aayog. He said that he felt very happy when he heard that all CM’s of states will be a part of NITI Aayog. But all of that went into the trash.
Farmers protest
He criticised the government of arousing hatred among the youth of the country. He also spoke about the 13 month protest by the farmers. It was the first time in the history of India that farmers had to protest for such a long time. Moreover, 78 farmers died during this period. Consequently, the Prime Minister had to apologise. However, not a single promise is fulfilled yet.

“There is a rise in prices of fertilisers, seeds etc farmers are wailing and are suffering because of GST. What is NITI Aayog doing?”
Centre is working so well that even the country’s capital doesn’t have water and electricity . There is a rise in unemployment, investors are not coming towards our country.

Furthermore, he said, “it is very painful to talk about NITI Aayog , it has replaced planning commission hence thought that it would work excellently, but what is the use of it.?” The Centre itself does not respect anything done by NITI Aayog
Professor Jai shanker and Mungikar were requested to add 2 districts which were backward, so that these districts will get good facilities. Unfortunately, after all the development of Telangana, NITI Aayog went around the districts of Telangana and appreciated and sanctioned Mission Bhageeratha and Mission Kakatiya . They have promised to give 24 thousand crores, even after 6 years but not even 24 paise also hasn’t come. What is its reverence.?
State Specific issues
There are many State specific issues, but there is no one to listen to the issue. They are only bothered about dictatorship and spreading hatred.
However, the press conference ended without answering any questions. The Chief Minister promised to answer to the questions of the journalists in a day or two.
