In a bid to take revenge, a contract employee working in the electricity department disconnected power supply for two police stations after the cops seized and fined his minor son’s bike.

This unexpected incident took place at the Jeedimetla police station in Hyderabad. As a part of his duty, Jeedimetla Traffic SI Ramesh had conducted a vehicle inspection in Shapur Nagar on Tuesday evening. Unfortunately, a minor boy was caught driving while the police Traffic SI was inspecting vehicles. The boy was the son of a contract employee working in the electricity department. The boy requested the police to excuse him, but the cops did not listen and seized the bike.

The boy’s father became very angry on the police and disconnected power supply for more than two hours, without concerning the higher officials. The Police station was in the darkness for two hours. As there is no problem of power cut in Telangana, senior cops took up the matter and complained to the electricity officials. The police station had no power for more than two hours.

Jeedimetla CI Balaraju spoke to DE Raju and took steps to restore power. As per the reports, departmental action would be taken against the contract employee. The incident, which took place between two government departments, this topic has become a matter of mockery among the locals.
