Smriti Irani targeted the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, while addressing an election rally in Agra. She commented on Priyanka Gandhi’s slogan ‘Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon’.

People reacted to Smriti Irani’s comments sharply. A Twitter user named Pramod said , “Priyanka Gandhi was giving hints that the boy of the house has motivated women to move forward. Unlike BJP, Hathras and Unnao have not made women helpless.

Another user named Stayamev Jayate wrote that Smriti is not an Iranian sign, she is speaking directly, not to the girls. Only boys should fight.
