On Monday, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable opens firing inside a Jaipur-Mumbai train killing four people, says Officials. The accused has been identified as Chethan Kumar and was arrested by Government Railway Police (GRP).
According to news reports, the incident took place in B5 coach at around 5:23 AM on Jaipur-Mumbai express train when escorting staff constable Chetan Kumar fired at his colleague escort in charge ASI Tika Ram and three other passengers.
After shooting his colleague, the policeman first held passengers at gunpoint.
Soon after the incident, Constable Chetan Kumar dropped near Dahisar and attempted to leave after pulling the alarm chain. However, he was arrested by RPF Bhayandar along with the weapon.

According to ANI, DRM Neeraj Kumar says, “At around 6 am we got to know that an RPF constable, who was on escorting duty opened fire…Four people have been shot dead…Our railway officer reached the spot. The families have been contacted. Ex-gratia will be given.”
