Raghvendra Singh, popularly known as the Helmet Man of India. He had record of distributing 56,000 helmets across the country in the last 9 years.
Raghvendra has been distributing helmets since 2014 because of an incident that changed his life. In that incident he loss his close friend Krishna road accident. His friend Krishna was not wearing any helmet. After that incident, he left his job and distributing helmets those are not wearing helmet, so that he can save someone’s life.
Raghvendra uses his social media account, where he has more than 26k followers. He took social media to spread his road safety awareness. He has been awarded the Asian Excellence Award in 2022. To raise awareness, he wears a helmet even in his car.
According to source, Raghvendra said that he sold off his house in Greater Noida for Rs.52 lakh in 2018. He had purchased the house in 2013 at Rs.43 lakh. My wife also help by selling off her jewellery. I also sold the 14 Bitcoins, The value of those Bitcoins at that time was Rs.75 lakh. I also used up all of my savings I had accumulated when I had a job which I left in 2016, he said.

He does not take his car’s speed above 100 but when a person overtook me on the Lucknow Expressway, I was stunned because without a helmet his speed was more than us. To give him a safety cover helmet, he had to drive his car over 100, finally caught him. #Helmetman @PMOIndia
