Priyanka Gandhi was arrested by UP Police, she questioned the police as to why the Union Minister Ajay Kumar Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra is still not arrested. Ashish is accused of running over protesting farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri district.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi was detained in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur. She claimed that she was pushed and manhandled while being arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police. She claimed that she was not shown any papers either.
However, senior leaders and lawyers said that the detention of Priyanka Gandhi is unlawful as she was arrested before sunrise.
