Sushmita Sen, the former Miss Universe, gave a clarification about the post made by Lalit Modi on Thursday. Lalit Modi, an Indian business man, who fled to London after charges of corruption in the cricket association, made his relationship with Sushmita public on social media.
Sharing a happy picture with daughters Renee and Alisah and she wrote: “I am in a happy place! Not married, no rings…Unconditionally surrounded by love. Enough clarification given… Now back to life and work! Thank you for always sharing in my happiness…and for those who don’t. She signed off the post with these words:” It’s NOYB anyway. I love you guys.”
Lalit Modi shared a few pics on social media and referred to Susmita Sen as his “better half”. Netizens were surprised by the sudden announcement. In fact even Ms. Sen’s brother was surprised to hear this. Many of them wished for the actress and said they were happy for her.
However, in the next tweet, Lalit Modi clarified that they aren’t married and they are just dating. “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too it will happen one day,” he wrote in a separate tweet.
Sushmita’s response was much-awaited. On Friday, Susmita gave the clarification that she is still not married but in a happy place.
