More than 3.2 Million lost their Jobs in July 2021

As per the data issued by CMIE, more that 3.2 million salaried people lost their jobs in July 2021.

The tragedy is that the youngsters lost their jobs due to the mismanagement of the Government and its policies. The salaried people who lost their jobs have to pay their rents, loans to repay, other obligations to take care, kids to study and their expenses too.

Impact on the Youth

The impact of this mismanagement can be seen only after 10 years. Eventually, the youngsters may feel that it is their failure to earn a job for themselves.

Hence, they may resort to extreme steps due to depression or frustration or move into the wrong directions. This kind of situation is very bad for the development of the country.

Migrant workers

Initially, the salaried jobs in India in July 2020 was 86 million. Eventually, after the first wave of COVID-19, it started decreasing. People migrated to their native places during the lock down.

It is assumed that some of them did not return to their jobs after the lock down, instead stayed back to become farmers.

The figure was 79.7 million in June 2021. There is a steep decline. By the end of July, the figure is 76.49.

Wage laborers and Small traders

Surprisingly, the figures of daily wage laborers and small traders has increased. Labor economists say that there is a shift of people towards farming as the monsoon is fast approaching.

People have chosen farming, as the jobs market wasn’t there after the Lock down.

Privileged People

Privileged people in India including the Prime Minister of India, who never did a salaried job may never think on this issue. These people can talk anything under the sky – Caste discrimination, bigotry, wars, meetings and make public appearances.

Unfortunately, they can not understand and talk about the livelihood and the loss of the people after the lock down.

Only outcome of economic mismanagement is ruining the dreams of the people of India.
