Minister’s Son, accused of Killing Farmers, keeps the Top Cop waiting

Union Minister Ajay Mishra’s son, Ashish Mishra, who is accused of killing farmers, did not show up for the police questioning. He is accused of murder of four farmers, who is reportedly mowed down by his speeding car.

Despite a nation wide outrage regarding the case, the police summoned him for the first time. However, he did not appear for the police questioning and the top cop, Upendra Agarwal, kept waiting for him.

Upendra Agarwal, is heading the eight-member probe team. Ashish Mishra was named in an FIR filed by the farmers. They demanded strict action against the minister’s son.

Furthermore, Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, alleged that the police are shielding the minister’s son. However, the police have a different version to say.

The police pasted a notice outside the Union Minister’s home. They summoned Ashish Mishra for questioning at 10.00 AM. However, he did not turn up.

Subsequently, two people -Luv Kush and Ashish Pandey – were arrested in the case on Thursday. It is alleged that these two people were in the same vehicle that ran over a journalist and the farmers.
