We are all aware about the benefits of doing some sort of exercise every day. Being active and doing regular bodily exercises can prevent major chronic diseases such as heart problems, high blood sugar,  high blood pressure, back pain, osteoporosis, joint pains, obesity, and even some forms of cancer.
Due to current pandemic COVID-19 situation all gyms and yoga centers are closed. While they have decided to open in the near future, experts believed that any form of high intensity exercise should be done with utmost care.

Medical experts said that while doing high intensity workout one should not wear mask. Airflow significantly diminished during moderate to several exercise which cause faster breathing. And therefore wearing a mask during exercise act as a barrier and that can lower the oxygen level in the re-circulated air.

Dr P Raghu Ram, President, the Association of Surgeons of India said that this will cause dehydration, light headedness & dizziness and can even result in adverse cardiac effects.

The places that are identified as hotspot spreading virus happened from fitness centers. Space available in Gym is significantly less and where it would not be possible to keep all equipment far away from one another. If someone uses one dumbbell and then another person used the same without sanitizing it, there is a high chance of infection.

Meanwhile all the gym owners said that they will only re-open the gyms  by following all the rules and regulations of Government.
